Starting Anew....

Before I started the MCBS program, I was a college grad working three part time jobs with no days off. I felt as though I was trapped, and the dreams that I had seemed like nothing else but dreams. I had always thought that I wanted to be an author. I grew up forever reaching for this one goal, and I continued to try and write something no matter how small, every day. But then I decided I needed to do something else to supplement my time when I wasn't writing. What else could I be doing to support myself and allow me to continue to create? Because of that, I decided to go back to school once more. I thought that by expanding my education, I could become a better person and grow to be a more enthusiastic and talented writer. Because of that, I wanted to find a program that complimented my previous degree while giving me more challenges to improve my skills. But I also wanted to begin anew and create a fresh start for myself somewhere unknown and exciting. And because of that I found myself leaning towards the academics at Full Sail University. The school had so many unique programs that interested me and I had a hard time choosing which one I felt like I wanted to dive into. Until finally I decided to enter the MCBS program and move myself from Washington to Florida. It took a lot of planning, and a few hiccups in finances, but I made it across the country in one tired but happy piece. And ever since I decided to pursue my passion for media, I've found myself being more inspired and even more creative than ever before. Being a successful writer is no longer my only goal now, but instead, is one of many.
