Wk3 Exploration: Team Organization & Video Examples/ Curating 4
For this week’s
project, I'm most excited to shoot something that is original and unique.
Throughout my time at Full Sail thus far I've done a lot of voiceover narration
which I've definitely enjoyed but there were only a few moments where I used my
own images or videos to the project. So, I am very interested in producing
something that is completely new with images or video that we make for this
project specifically. I'm also excited to work more with editing and audio
production for our project, although that's not my position within my team, but
it's still a great opportunity to learn from my group.
For my team, I’ll be taking the role as production coordinator as well as writer.
We tried to give roles that not only were we comfortable with, but that played
with our strengths. I'm a writer first and foremost, so I believe I can be the
most help in that aspect. I also get very anxious, so I will try to keep
everyone updated and connected as far as what we are doing, when, and possibly
how.
So far we have kept in contact in person through our classes, but
as far as collaboration apps I would probably suggest Facebook messenger,
snapchat, or simply group chat through texts. With all of these options we get
notified instantly and allows for images, video clips, and voice recordings to
be sent to multiple individuals and quickly. We plan on meeting up in person a
lot more than not, so I don't think we will be using anything too much.
It's going to be pretty challenging trying to complete this
project because we all have so much going on. We have to schedule time to meet
up, figure out the ideas and how we want to produce this project, and then not
only execute it but edit it and confirm amongst the three of us if it's to our
standards to turn in. Right now we are still trying to figure out what product
or brand we want, so it's off to a slow start but I believe that once we decide
on that, we can form a plan and be able to complete it on time and do a good
job of it.
